Orthognathic Surgery

For those individuals who have misalignment of the jaws as well as the teeth, in addition to braces, jaw surgery is needed to achieve the proper bite. Dr. Salama performs the orthodontic treatment and works closely with an oral surgeon to create the best treatment course for every patient. Dr. Salama completed two years of fellowship training in treating surgical orthodontics cases. Few orthodontists have completed such training making her an expert at recognizing and treating these complex cases.
